Ref vac 24812 DUBAI SA locum vet needed for holiday relief cover - joining the 3 vet team at this 100% SA practice in Dubai. Looking for either ongoing locum cover through the summer, or alternatively the client can take cover in blocks of ideally 4 weeks plus. Our client is looking for an experienced vet locum, self sufficient with all routine medicine and surgery - a particular interest in feline care is a bonus as this represents a large proportion of the client base. Accommodation and car provided, along with flights. -

Ref vac 24524 PERTH, WA SA locum vet needed for holiday cover. Working sole charge at this 100% SA practice. Looking for an experienced vet, self-sufficient for all routine surgical work and a generally good all-rounder! Cover will involve working day shifts only (appx 9-7) with no after-hours or weekend duties. This is a very well equipped modern work facility with great support staff. -

Ref vac 24560 QUEENSLAND, NORTH SA/Equine locum vet needed for maternity cover. Joining the team at this 2 vet, 3 nurse practice. The practice consists of mainly SA work however some knowledge of first opinion/routine equine work is necessary. This is a well equipped and purpose built practice with a knowledgeable and supportive team with a relaxed environment. Full time, with 1 day off in week following wkend duty - After hours calls are minimal, duties are approximately 2 nights per week and alternate weekends. The client can provide both a car and accommodation - this is a great opportunity for a locum in the tourist area of north Queensland (30 mins from Cairns) with easy access to the coast, rainforest and tablelands. -

Ref vac 24527 SOUTH AFRICA! SOUTH AFRICA! Wildlife Vet required to join an established veterinary practice, safari and education provider. Our client is looking for an experienced vet who would be interested in this unique opportunity. Based in the Eastern Cape along with travel around the country, day to day duties are centred around facilitating veterinary courses for vet students, vet nurses and vets as well as facilitating vet safaris. This may entail game immobilisation & relocation with the students, giving lectures on various conservation based aspects of vet science, accompanying students on expeditions to rehabilitation centres, explaining management implications of game in captive and wild situations, hosting clients/students etc. Previous experience of facilitation is not essential, as training is provided, but you need to be able to enjoy sharing knowledge, working with students, have patience and sometimes a sense of humour while at the same time be safety conscious and responsible! Previous experience in African wildlife is very desirable but not absolutely necessary as long as you have had enough general experience. Our client is looking ideally for a South African vet, looking for an opportunity to return home and take up this unusual challenge! -

Ref vac 10028 WESTERN AUSTRALIA (South East Coast) SA vet needed for holiday cover – joining the team at this large multi vet mixed practice (for SA duties only). Our client has a 3 site practice including a well equipped hospital centre. Working day shifts appx 8am to 5.30 plus Saturday morning and after-hours on a shared roster.
